About me

Kihara is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He holds a Diploma in Arbitration and an Advanced Certificate in Construction Adjudication. He is a member of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation and is the immediate former Chairperson of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators - Kenya Branch. He is a member of the panel of mediators of the Strathmore University Dispute Resolution Centre. Kihara is an Accredited Mediator with the Judiciary’s Mediation Accreditation Committee and was in the past engaged by the National Government to conduct a baseline survey in ADR in Kenya. He is an alumnus of Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and is a Certified Public-Private Partnerships Specialist. Kihara is also the Chairperson of the Public - Private Partnerships Petition Committee, a statutory body established under the Public Private Partnerships Act 2013 of Kenya.
