Ruth Mueni Muthui

Ms. Muthui is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts degree in Environmental Law at the University of Nairobi and holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Catholic University of Eastern Africa. She also holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). Previously, she worked at the Commission for Implementation of the Constitution as a Senior Program Officer and Legal Officer where she worked closely with National Executive, Parliament and Judiciary in developing legislation, policies and administrative procedures required to implement the Constitution, Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company as a Legal Officer and Laibuta Kamau & Co. Advocates. She has written and edited, alone or with others numerous government reports and articles, most of them dealing with the Constitution. Ms. Muthui has extensive experience in legislative drafting, policy development, and conducting legal audits. She is also an experienced project manager and has a strong track record in leading and managing large projects/ programmes and has written and edited, alone or with others numerous government reports and articles, most of them dealing with the Constitution.
